Mike Schneider

Media guy. Systems guy. I make the message land, then build the machine that makes it pay faster.

I’ve made noise for rock stars (The Strokes, The Hives, Tom Morello’s management), helped medical institutions sound like they have a bedside manner, marketed to the real-estate data crowd at Nestio, and ran marketing as founding VP for the part of journalism that actually turns a profit at Muck Rack. Also MongoDB, which is a database, which is less funny but very real.

Where in the world is Mike?

Look for this guy: Mets cap, red-and-white stripes. Blue stripes, other Mets fans and Yankees caps are decoys. Naomi is in there too, judging everyone’s hats. Orpheus is trying to hide too, but he is a Maine Coon.

Tap the guy in stripes. Swipe to look around.
Inquiries

What’s going on?

Launch, rebrand, pipeline that’s gone quiet, a story nobody’s getting. A few lines is plenty. Also, Mike loves meeting new people in media and marketing. He’s in San Francisco and New York regularly and London now and then, so if you’d rather talk over coffee, pick that below and say which city.

Notes are screened by Naomi, who has an opinion about every one of them (and a very strong one about the vacuum). Orpheus handles escalations, mostly by lying on them.

POST CARD

Hi friend,

If you’re reading this, you probably know us. And if it’s been a while, or things have felt a little far apart lately, this is your nudge to say hi.

No reason needed. No agenda. You don’t have to catch us up on everything first. We’d just really love to hear from you.

P.S. Orpheus says hi. Loudly. Naomi says hi too, plus several notes on our handwriting.

Love,
the Schneiders

Just say hi
